This version is now delayed by only 18 months! It is not fast but they are getting faster in the world of Amiga. Get it now!

You can get the free Roadshow TCP/IP stack as a demo version of 1.15 from the APC&TCP website to try it or purchase or update your existing Roadshow to version 1.15. This is a TCP/IP stack that Commodore should have included with AmigaOS 3.x from the start! No MUI requirement at all and DHCP just works. Yes, even with power plugs! Ethernet through the power cables of your house or apartment.

Improving installation and maintenance tasks

This update is focused on improving installation and maintenance tasks, as well as making the installation documentation more useful and accessible. The single documentation file, still small in 2014, became increasingly unwieldy and has become a set of shorter files, each focused on one single aspect of Roadshow. By request, new documentation has been added which details all the files that will be installed for Roadshow.

It is always great to see this side of the Roadshow improved. It will help new users a lot. But still, if you struggle. Come to the Amitopia Discord Server where the team is ready to answer your questions.

The single installation script, which combined several tasks, became a set of scripts, each with its task. The new update script will take care of upgrading an older Roadshow installation (versions 1.9-1.14) as well as upgrading a currently installed demo version to the commercial version.

This helps a lot for new users. A better installation script is a great add-on for Roadshow!

Order a ‘compact’ disk image of Roadshow

By request, a ‘compact’ Roadshow installation disk image (1.76 MByte high-density) is available for the first time, containing a ‘reduced’ version of the full installation archive. The ‘compact’ installation is restricted to software built for all Amigas (68000 CPU or better) and omits the large reference documentation.

At Amitopia AmiDev Team we try to release all of our software for all sorts of Amigans too. There are 68000 versions of AmiFox and AmiTube etc. So, it is nice to see that a more ‘compact’ version of Roadshow can be ordered by request.

With this version, I am sure that AmiFox, AmiTube, Aweb, iBrowse, or even AmiTranslate will work better. The bottleneck of Miami is its MUI usage and AmiTCP is hard to set up. So, here Roadshow is finally nailing it. An ultimate TCP/IP stack that is worth every penny.

Roadshow is available in three formats

  • Digital download
  • CD-ROM
  • USB card that is formatted in FAT32 format

The CD-ROM and USB card versions include a digital download for Roadshow. If you already bought the digital download, you can upgrade to the CD ROM or the USB card version for 4,90 €, plus shipping, in our online shop.

If you bought the CD-ROM version, you can ‘upgrade’ to the USB card version for 4,90 €, plus shipping, in our online shop. The same holds if you bought the USB card version and wish to ‘upgrade’ to the CD-ROM version.

Supporting this team is important as most things happen online today. So, that’s why it is important to get your Amiga online. It’s easier being an Amiga user as you can get tools and help easily.
