PiStorm Emu68 1.1 reaches 2050 MIPS

Getting ready for an even better PiStorm experience? Emu68 1.1 is not just a powerhouse for 3D games. But in general, too!

RC5/72 and OGR-NG: These CPU-intensive tasks need many more JIT blocks. With Emu68 v1.0, execution achieved about 1800 million m68k instructions in 1800 ARM cycles (~100% efficiency). With v1.1, it reaches 2050 MIPS in the same 1800 cycles — exceeding 100% efficiency.

The benchmark tool for Amiga SysInfo reports around 2050 MIPS on a CM4 or Pi4 at 1.8 GHz. It’s fun now, but once Emu68 1.1 hits, it will improve a lot.
