Amiga Party Games that Nails the Weekend

I love to support the Amiga commercial games. But there are some remarkable party games that are totally free to download from Aminet. So, I decided to make this guide regarding Party Games for Amiga that are free.

All of the games in this guide can be downloaded right now. The Amiga platform got everything from amazing shooters to brilliant snake remakes that are totally free to download and play. Just use this guide and you know what you need to make them run on your Classic Amiga.

Let Amitopia start the Amiga Party at Home Guide

Barbarian Plus

This is one of the best Barbarian Plus fan remakes of the classic Barbarian, The Ultimate Warrior. It aims to improve on the original C64 post with better graphics and music, more scenes, boss fights, and more warrior types. The game also features one and two-player. It is set in a fantasy world but it is violent. It is fun though and I highly recommend it.

Blitz Bombers

A perfect Bomberman clone. Blitz Bombers is adorable, fun, and got lots of action. Make sure you have time. You can play up to 4 players. The game is very good and you will not be bored. You place the bombs to make the other player suffer. There are lots of power-ups to pick up during the game. Also, there is a nice 1-player mode with quests that you have to do. Fun all the way. The game is 98% done so you can expect some issues. But I haven’t found any. Just make sure that you have enough Chip RAM when starting the game.

PONG4K for all Amiga AGA computers with CD32 compatibility is a fantastic game. This game has a revolving object in the center of the screen that if hit incorrectly can cause the ball to smack back into your own goal!PONG4K sports a stunning soundtrack that demands the volume control to be turned up, the graphics give it that dystopian sci-fi vibe, and what’s more, unlike the original Pong.

Turboraketti is done by Heikki Kosola 1992-1993 but the Freeware version was uploaded in 1998 to Aminet. The task in the game is to kill your opponent and survive. Also, make sure to handle the gravity.

Viper AGA

Viper AGA for Amiga computers with AGA chipset, you play 3 players against each other. The full version allows 6 players, but getting this game registered now is not possible. The task in this game is to win by going through as many holes that the worms are making on the screen. You can go through your competitor’s holes and your own. Once some of the competitors die, the speed of the remaining players increases so it becomes harder for them. You can bounce of the 4 walls in the area that you are playing once. All of the players use the same Amiga keyboard. Multi-pressing in this game works nicely, so don’t be afraid of lags. Viper AGA is a perfect Party game that gives you hours of fun. Warning! You can get addicted to this game. Also. You can play against the computer also. Just click on the color until C letter appears. Enjoy this game!
