Aureka!… a new 3D game in the works for RTG Amigas! Axion is in development by Artur Bardowski in Poland. This is HUGE!
“Axion is an experimental 3D tactical strategy game set against the backdrop of deep space. Game status is Work In Progress. It is not fully functional yet but rather shows what it will be You command a squad of combat units engaged in strategic encounters with enemy forces — where positioning, timing, and tactical decisions determine victory. The game features a fully software-rendered 3D engine, running on both classic Amigas and modern PowerPC-based systems such as AmigaOS 4.1 and MorphOS. No hardware acceleration — just raw CPU power and software rendering”.

This is amazing news, and even better, you can test the beta on itch.io, which is AmiFox compatible. I assume that the estimated development time for this is half a year or more. It is great that the developers invite the Amiga community to join from the start. That’s kudos to them.
