It is acting as a scandoubler/flicker fixer that allows native Amiga video modes and Retargetable Graphics (RTG) to output through a single HDMI port, integrated with the PiStorm accelerator board.
Framethrower 600 FT600 installs by clipping onto Amiga 600 Denise chip, allowing direct access to the video chip for pure output, and connects to the Raspberry Pi3 or Raspberry Pi Zero 2. Get both Amiga signals and RTG signals out through the same HDMI cable…! Finally out!
Easy installation of Framethrower 600 FT600
The board connects directly to the Amiga’s video chip and routes the native Amiga display through the Raspberry Pi. This allows both RTG and classic screen modes to be displayed through a single HDMI output, creating a seamless experience on modern monitors.
