Yet another Wayfarer update is out. In this version, MorphOS users are introduced to The Web Open Font Format. It is a font format for use on web pages. WOFF files are OpenType or TrueType fonts, with format-specific compression applied and additional XML metadata added.
Wayfarer now supports both WOFF and WOFF2 fonts. If the font you’re using supports ligatures, Wayfarer 3.2 improved supporting this feature now. Other than this there’s a JavaScript crash fix.
Here are all of the Wayfarer 3.2 Highlights
- Implemented WOFF/WOFF2 fonts support
- Improved ligatures support
- Worked around a possible crash in JavaScript
- Fixed the Polish catalog’s encoding
Remember that you can update Wayfarer within the program itself. Then it downloads and you have to replace the old with the new files.
