Classic AmigaOS Releases Since 1985 Guide

Amiga 4000 looking great with AmigaOS 3.2.1

The Amiga home computer was released in 1985 at the Lincoln Center in New York, USA.

On the 23rd of July 1985, Amiga 1000 was officially released. But it wasn’t until October 1985 that AmigaOS 1.0 was released. It was the very first release with lots of bugs, so AmigaOS 1.1 was quickly released.

I have only posted info about the full commercially released versions except for AmigaOS 1.4 which is a beta that was shipped with the early Amiga 3000 release.

Check out every AmigaOS release including all of the betas here.
