One of the best bird view racers ever, Super Skidmarks is now available for A600GS owners! New A600GS units will have it installed, while existing users must download it through AmiSphere and transfer it using a mempen.
Welcome to the world of Super Skidmarks!
Skidmarks is a multiplayer top down racing game that was created by New Zealand programmer, Chris Blackbourn. It was released for the Amiga in 1993 to much acclaim from users and magazines.
The first game featured 3D cars that could race around a selections of track in a bird view angle. The graphics pushed the Amiga’s capabilities at that time. The gameplay was enjoyable especially when playing in multiplayer mode with up to four friends. The game is in the same category as Micro Machines and Overdrive to name a few.
Super Skidmarks followed as an update in 1995 with more tracks and vehicle types. Players could add caravans hitched to their cars or even race cows on wheels!
