Smokin' Colts is OUT NOW!

This is NOT small news, World! Do you listen?... Red Dead for Amiga? Or what? .. Read on.. because this game is something unexpected ... but its here out now.. WOW!
Smokin' Colts is a full first-person western shooter for Amiga home computers with AGA and 68030 built by Fliegeralarm Games! This means that standard Amiga 1200 and Amiga CD32 needs a accelerator card.
Both Amiga 4000 030 and Amiga 4000 040 owners doesn't need to upgrade, but I still recommend to do it.
Recommended specs to have!
- **68030 at 33 MHz** or faster (no FPU needed)
- **2 MB Chip RAM + 4 MB Fast RAM**
- Hard drive or CF card (music and pictures are read from disk; floppy is not supported)
- Kickstart 3.x
- Optional: CD32 pad or joystick in port 2, mouse in port 1
A WHDLoad slave is included but untested so far; with WHDLoad the game needs about 8 MB of Fast RAM. With 4 MB, start the game directly from Workbench.
Smokin' Colts - Dusty Creek needs you
You ride into Dusty Creek, sun at your back, Colt on your hip. Bart Hollis and his gang run the town, sheriff can't stop them, bank's safe is next. Walk the main street, talk to townsfolk, order a whiskey at the saloon and that whiskey order brings the Hollis gang riding in.
Tech that blows my mind:
- Fully 3D sector/portal engine with sloped floors, two-storey buildings you can walk into, swinging saloon doors, lamp-lit interiors, 360° sky — all fixed-point on a 68030 without FPU!
- A living western town: saloon with piano player + dancer, two-storey hotel, bank, sheriff's office + jail, general store, barber, doctor, undertaker, livery stable. Every building enterable
- Two chapters: Dusty Creek + mystery of Silver Springs, train, Hale farm with hidden cellar, Boot Hill, Hollis Canyon, silver mine with mine-cart ride, paddle steamer, Apache camp
- Gunfights with cover: enemies duck, peek, flank, throw dynamite. Shoot gun out of hand, club them, make them surrender and walk them to sheriff
- 5 weapons: Colt, coach gun, Winchester, Sharps with scope, lasso. Fan the hammer, slow down time
- Duels at high noon — draw too early and you go to jail! Law or outlaw system — shoot wrong man, sheriff calls you out, bounty hunters follow
This is Red Dead on Amiga in 2026! On a 68030 or higher. What a superb new game. This is the very first open 3D world game out for Amiga.
