Developer evil4dmin just dropped a native AmigaOS client for Home Assistant. No emulation. No browser dashboards. Just real MUI windows, real gadgets, and a real ARexx port.
What is this?
This isn’t a toy. It’s a fully configurable dashboard for Workbench:
Media Player Control – NEW in 0.3
See title, artist, and station name right in the MUI window. Play, pause, skip, volume.
Control anything Home Assistant already supports: Squeezebox, Sonos, Chromecast, TV.
Important: The Amiga doesn’t play audio itself. It’s the remote control.
Camera Tiles
View your IP cam feeds directly in Workbench. Refresh with a click or set a timer.
Save a snapshot and it’s automatically named after the tile’s label.
Sensors, Gauges, Switches, Buttons
Drop anything from Home Assistant into your MUI window. Temperature, power usage, lights.
Looks like 1994. Works like 2026.
