ANAIIS USB Stack for AmigaOS is now out in Version 1.18

If you’ve got a Highway or a Subway card. Don’t go away. ANAIIS USB Stack v1.18 is now out on Aminet.net. This USB stack requires 68000 CPU. It works on AmigaOS v1.1 to AmigaOS 3.1.4 on the 68k and it also supports PowerPC thru AmigaOS 4.x

Use USB mice and keyboards with your Amiga

With this minimalistic USB stack that is written in C. You can add many USB mice and keyboards to an Amiga with Highway or a Subway card inserted.

There is also another USB stack for Amiga named as Poseidon USB stack. This one however aims at being lighter. We have yet to conclude that, but the fact that it runs on 68000 is pretty awesome.

The developer also released a package which is intent to produce a boot disk, able to mount and boot a rescue system. With these files you can make a bootable disk able to launch several
clean systems depending on the rom version.

ANAIIS USB Stack officially Tested

This USB stack is tested with success with Brilliance, Deluxe Paint, Aegis Sonix, Ced (I wrote this text with it 🙂 ) most of well written Workbench tools.
The Settlers, Indy4 (and the fate of Atlantis) work fine…

It is possible to plug and unplug devices without reseting the stack.
But be careful with disks.

So, if you’ve got a Highway or a Subway USB upgrade for your Amiga. You should try this USB stack.
